well i made 1st in the reserve and it was grand in scotland wish i could have stayed on board but my needs to the navy was needed in washington dc adm staff for military sealift command 4228 wisconson ave nw and navy yard in dc with nis and so forth also i gotr cought up in the reagons cut backs and well ended up in the reserve as ending my carreer with the navy as a reservist but i learned a lot about leadership and values of life aboard the holland after nam what a readjustment phase

Enjoyed the time on board in Rota. Was able to have my wife join me while station in Rota and have my first born there.
I was fortunate enough to extend my tour in order to bring the boat back to Charleston and prep for the yards.
