I have a lot of memories of the time stationed aboard the Holland. Mostly in Scotland eating the Fish and Chips. A sout out to Marshall, Feagly, Morris, Eggins, Crosby, and the NK 14 Shop Crew who showed me how to filter the Torpedo Juice!!!!

The voyage from South Carolina to Guam was indeed memorable.  I met some great people while serving on board the ship.  Thanks.

Hey everyone, just looking through the log.  I must say as I really had a great time.  Had 3 skippers, Capt Wigley, Capt Bump, and Captain Wilson.  It was truly The WORLD'S GREATEST TENDER.  Every thing worked super from the top to bottom , bow to stern  Gold E's in every thing plus the Golden Anchor.  Way to go TEAM!  Hope to see a lot of you in Branson.

I earned my Shell back, Golden Dragon, and Royal Order of the Ditch. The initiations royally sucked....but I would do it all over again. I really miss those days.

Reported Jan 1991, made the trip to Guam in April/May 1992, earned my ESWS just before I transferred to SSN 698 in April 1993 and returned to the Holland during a Westpac in September 1993, right after the earthquake that sank Andy's Hut. Retired as ET1(SS/SW) in August of 2002.

Started in Charleston and moved with the ship to Guam. Received my Surface Warfare while on the ship and had the 'pleasure' of being on both sides of a Shellback initiation. I worked mostly in PC support.
