Comments: If anyone was in the Supply dept during my duty time aboard the Holland. Send me an e-mail
Comments: I very much enjoyed the time I spent onbloard the Holland. Fish & Chips at the little hole in the wall around the corner from the bar downtown. I worked a lot of crazy hour fixing boats. I made some fantastic friends and great people while in Scotland.
Comments: the best time in my life was spent on board the Holland, the day my wife and I were married on board March 17th 1978. Captain Wigley attended as did Chaplain Marvyn. Had great workmates and have been back to Dunoon only once and that was 4 years ago to show my daughter where she was born and raised. I spend many vacations in my wife's home town Ayr will be there for Christmas and New year this year will be our first Christmas in Scotland since we came to the states, long long time ago. I would like to hear from ANYONE who was on board at the same time and who may even remember the wedding. Till then may God bless you for everything you did, and may He continue to shower you with His many blessings. Cody and Lyn Gwynn. Roy Utah. ![]()

Every thing worked super from the top to bottom , bow to stern Gold E's in every thing plus the Golden Anchor. Way to go TEAM! Hope to see a lot of you in Branson.

Comments: Started in Charleston and moved with the ship to Guam. Received my Surface Warfare while on the ship and had the 'pleasure' of being on both sides of a Shellback initiation. I worked mostly in PC support. |
