Went across the Atlantic ocean to Porto Rico a couple of days, stopped off in the Virgin islands for a little bit,then it it was off to Charlston S.C.where we stayed for it seamed a year or so,[could of been sooner lol] from there we went through the Panama canel and stopped some where else,then we went to Brimerton shipyard where she was going to get a refit,was there for five or six months through the winter, then spring April 25 1975 i got out,it seemed like everyone was getting out.Even offered me 2 ranks and 10.000$, should of took it. I missed it alot after that, good times and good friends, i made on the USS Holland AS-32. Thanks everyone!!

She was a hard working ship, We went on some tough cruises of up to 3 week: Baltimore, Bermuda and Cape Kennedy. She was a good feeder and hard working ship. We won the NEY Award in 1988. INSERV and OPPE plus everything else kept us hopping.
