No Department / Division / Shop : Ops/Nav/Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) Comments: What an experience. I arrived onboard with the ship in the shipyard in Bremerton. Morale was terrible as the Navy was pushing an 18 month workload into nine months. Was with the ship on our way to Scotland with stops in San Diego and two months in Charleston. Morale shifted once in Holy Loch as we became "The World's Greatest Tender." I made a lot of friends and grew up a bit. Spent 12 months on Shore Patrol working the van in Dunoon and of course the EM club at the end of the pier. Wishing all of my Holland shipmates all the best. JQ USN ret.
