I was an E4 and have to say the two years was fun. It got into emergency medicine and I thought that was the best kind of medicine. you had a chance to make a real difference,life or death descions. So I beame a paramedic and did that for 43 years. I am now retired from Pittsburgh Emergency Services. I loved my job and was glad my miliyary service guided me too it.

No Department / Division / Shop : Supply Comments: I was stationed on USS Holland in 1982 when it returned to Charleston. I was the second female officer assigned to the ship. We went through the shipyard before sailing to Diego Garcia and around the world. I became shellback and also crossed the international dateline as a member of the crew. It was a great experience!
